The Opportunity:
Embry-Riddle is seeking an Identity Management Analyst to join the Information Technology department in a teleworking arrangement. Reporting to the Director of Linux and Middleware, the Identity Management Analyst is part of the Identity & Access Management team. The individual is responsible managing day-to-day operational support, including completion of user requests and resolution of complex requests. They serve as an escalation resource for first and second tier support analysts for all identity and access issues.

Ideal candidates have experience with Okta, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Unified Directory, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, MS o365, and Team Dynamics. They will be comfortable supporting low to medium complexity maintenance along with operational and incident service requests. They will provide input on planning and direction for the identity and access management roadmap and will develop and increase their knowledge and capabilities through training, investing time to understand and communicate technical/organizational direction and cross training.

This position requires a strong communicator and team-player in day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for coordinating, communicating, and collaborating with other university and campus Information Technology teams on strategic and tactical initiatives. The Identity Management Analyst understands and exhibits a focus on a positive customer experience using excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include the following:
  • Ensure we maintain safe and secure systems. Alert management and respond to anomalies. Ensure timely assignment, completion and documentation of Identity & Access Management operations work tickets.
  • Contribute to various operational projects where IAM tasks are needed. Conduct training across various departments in support of the University’s Identity and Access Management solutions and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain clear well-written documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of Identity & Access Management standards, practices, and guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least two plus years of high quality professional experience providing operational support for Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems with an enterprise population.
  • Excellent customer service skills, working directly with customers and business users to troubleshoot and resolve operational requests.
  • Demonstrable experience configuring, maintaining, and providing day-to-day operational support and workload prioritization of IAM requests in support of the following software: Okta, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Internet Directory.
  • Capable of seeing the larger picture and helping develop the Universities operational IAM roadmap.
  • Ability to apply troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex, cross-functional issues.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, mentoring, and leading others; assigning and managing work assignments of others.

Preferred skills, knowledge, abilities:
  • Four (4) or more years’ experience supporting day-to-day operations support over Identity and Access Management (IAM) in an enterprise environment.
  • SSCP or CISSP certification
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Experience working with DUO
