PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Supervisor, Tax Escrow Administration at one of the following offices: Irving, Texas; or San Antonio, Texas. The primary purpose of this job is to supervise the activities of the Escrow Administration department. The Supervisor is responsible for providing training, guidance, coaching, and oversight to the Escrow Administration staff. Responsible for overseeing the day to day functions for the escrow area which includes property insurance processing, property tax processing, and mortgage insurance ensuring superior customer service.

  • Oversee Escrow Administration including taxes, insurance, escrow analysis, and escrow audits.
  • Supervise and monitors all employees and their daily work within the escrow area
  • Run escrow analysis reports and monitors client escrow accounts to disburse taxes, hazard insurance, PMI, premiums accordingly.
  • Supervise departmental processes as it relates to the escrow lifecycle, including reconciliation of open billing items for tax and insurance, mortgage insurances and escrow analysis.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as they relate to escrow, including pulling and gathering requested information for audits, etc.
  • Primary contact with outside escrow related vendors. Responsible for performance of respective vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with RESPA, Homeowners Protection Act of 1998, Privacy Act and other regulatory acts as they may apply to servicing/escrow.
  • Assist customers, both internal and external, with verbal and written questions, concerns and problems related to escrow and provides excellent customer service for all requests.
  • Lead the Escrow employees in the areas of tax, insurance, escrow/analysis and achieving quality metrics and operational production.
  • Provide clear direction and fosters teamwork to achieve or exceed objectives by coaching and developing.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes relating to taxes and insurances.
  • Assist the Servicing area with special projects.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.


  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' of experience in mortgage loan servicing and escrow administration is preferred.
  • Managerial or supervisory experience is preferred
  • Experience coaching, leading, and developing staff highly preferred
  • CoreLogic and MSP/Black Knight experience preferred
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

Travel

Limited travel to various worksites may be required.
