HVAC/R Service Technician Job at Air Controls
Air Controls - Billings, Montana s premier HVAC and Refrigeration Service provider! Our technicians are the provider of choice for many of the commercial buildings, apartment/multi-family complexes, offices, grocery stores, warehouses, and residential homes that utilize heating, cooling and refrigeration systems. As we continue to grow and thrive, we are seeking skilled HVAC/R Service Technicians to join our team of experts!
Our technicians not only provide high quality service, installation, diagnosis, and repairs, but they serve as the primary communication link between the client and our company. Due to the wide variety of activities, our technicians require a wide range of skills, which include:
- Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning equipment
- Commercial kitchen equipment, exhausts and make up air units.
- Grocery Store Rack and small commercial refrigeration, including Walk-Ins and Ice Machines
- Self-contained refrigeration units
- Package roof-top units, Cooling towers and Boilers
- Perform preventive maintenance on all types of HVAC/R Equipment.
- Service a primarily 150-mile radius of home shop.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
Experience is desirable, but apprenticeship or trade school training will be considered.

Hourly wages range between $24.00 to $35.00 per hour, DOE. Our wage packages include Medical, Dental, Vision, and Retirement Plans. We also provide profit sharing, a company vehicle, fuel card and tools!
Requirements:
- Journeyman level experience is desirable, but apprenticeship or trade school experience will be considered.
- Work experience with references from past employers.
- Good DMV and Criminal records.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive drug test.
- A neat/clean appearance.
