Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Specialist to manage our expats’ relocation and general HR tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire international assignment life cycle, from initial assessment to repatriation, ensuring that all mobility policies. The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping the company to plan and administer important functions, such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits. In 2024, this position will be relocated to Cartersville, GA. The current office in Atlanta, GA, is temporary.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the entire international assignment life cycle, from initial assessment to repatriation, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.
  • Coordinate all aspects of international relocation, including visa and work permit applications, tax and social security compliance, housing, transportation, and settling-in services.
  • Manage the assignment budget and ensure adherence to cost guidelines and policies.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to assignees and their families during the assignment, including managing any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate the repatriation process, including the return of property, termination of leases, and exit interviews.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, payroll, and legal teams, to ensure the smooth functioning of Global Mobility programs.
  • Keep up to date with changes in immigration and tax regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive program improvements.
  • Guiding management on employee relations and performance management
  • Administering compensation and benefit plans
  • Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole and to improve the employees’ experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and identify top talent through various channels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field in business administration
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs. Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgments on the proposals.
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
