As HR Business Partner in Huntsville, AL, you will translate the Aerospace team strategies into an HR agenda and execution plan that will promote goals. You will build talent, total rewards, capability building and cultural programs, in partnership with the HR COE’s, that increase PPG performance.

This HR business partner will play an important role by providing program leadership on HR-wide talent, culture, and organizational projects that guide results. You will report to Sr. HRBP Aerospace, Global Operations and will be seated at the Huntsville, AL plant. Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the business and corporate strategies into the (global, regional, local) HR agenda, enabled by data and analytics. Be a strategic partner and trusted advisor to (business/function/site) leadership, using data to develop talent, total rewards, engagement, performance, culture and capability building to (global, regional and local) results.
  • Deliver short- and long-term sustainable business/function performance through strategic capability building.
  • Ensure Global execution of HR strategy/programs, challenging to balance local business and program needs, while understanding and advocating a ONE PPG approach.
  • Collaborate with (global/regional/local) leaders to plan, improve, and complete standard processes (e.g., talent, rewards, engagement, and succession and development).
  • Champion and support diversity and inclusion projects to lead awareness, accountability and customize actions where needed. Increase the workforce through resource planning, productivity analysis, structure, operational and deployment of resources.
  • Support overall HR effectiveness and the delivery of a customer experience, by partnering on complex or vague items with the Tier 1PPSC, Centers of Excellence, and other HRBP’s to deliver excellence and ensuring response and escalations in workday.
  • Advisor to ER/LR COE on important negotiations such as CLA agreements and social partner relationships (unions/works councils).
  • Support for local, non-complex issue resolution (including employee relations, time and attendance, compensation) and policy adherence, applying standard global, regional and local practices and guidelines. Enroll ER/LR COE and local regional or country experts for complex situations and to ensure accuracy and consistency in resolution of typical policy matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related, and we would like to see additional education or HRIC or SHRM certifications.
  • 8 +years of Human Resources experience; prefer high level of expertise in specialist areas including organizational development, recruitment, talent development, compensation and benefits, employee, and labor relations.
