The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) executes activities at Granicus to maximize the strategic use of human resources, and maintains functions such as employee relations, employee experience, policies/compliance, diversity/inclusion, and performance management to create a positive, employee-oriented and high-performance culture.
What you get to do:
Proactively work with managers to develop positive solutions to employee issues that may arise
Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, workplace concerns
Understand employee opinions, monitor the effect of business decisions on people, and advise on addressing employees’ concerns
Assist with delivering an exceptional new employee orientation experience
Conduct exit interviews and analyze data and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Represent the company for any unemployment claims
Monitor employment activities such as applicant flow, new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions to identify potential areas of focus and other opportunities to promote diversity initiatives
Help gather data requested for compliance reporting
Facilitate the annual performance management review process to ensure we are creating a high-performance culture
Work with managers to ensure that employees performance meet standards and provide guidance and coaching on performance process
Proactively monitor employees’ career pathing progress and work with managers to support each team members’ growth and development
Always maintains a professional and positive attitude and is an exemplary representative of the HR team and Granicus
Maintain leading-edge knowledge of HR issues; stay abreast of regulatory and policy developments affecting areas of responsibility
Identify new opportunities where HR can add value
What we need in you:
At least 2 years of hands-on HR experience in high growth organizations; HR certification preferred
Strong knowledge of applicable state and federal regulatory requirements for compensation, benefits, HR documentation
Possess strong foundational knowledge of principles and procedures in human resources; FMLA, ERISA, FLSA, HIPPA, CFRA, OFCCP and more
Demonstrated ability to work professionally and discreetly with extremely confidential information
Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization; strong written and oral communication skills
Basic project management skills, effective organizational skills, and high attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation; commitment to customer service second to none
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and a flexible approach
