Sandstone of Tucson is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to help organize, develop, and execute all systems relevant to HR/Payroll. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and flexible in their role. Above all, you must have a deep passion for people and culture.

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of HR/Recruitment experience.

Human Resources Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports human resources processes by educating staff scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, maintaining records and information.
  • Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation.
  • Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records.
  • Assists HR Director with the oversight of the front desk/receptionist team
  • Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
  • Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
  • Organizes work.
  • Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Assists in the hiring/recruiting process for all departments.
  • Be a culture advocate and promote positivity throughout the facility.

  • Familiarity with Paycor or HRIS systems is preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 / hourly DOE

Status: FT hours (40 hours) per week
