Key Role:

Assess and evaluate behaviors of targeted groups of people using human centered design methodology to explore all aspects of a stakeholder’s experience, and then translate that knowledge into meaningful and actionable information and system designs to inform and improve programs, products, and services. Leverage a variety of technologies, tools, and techniques, including market and ethnographic research. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing and facilitating design strategy sessions for gathering requirements, collecting data, analyzing results, or deriving insights and recommendations

  • Knowledge of User Experience research methods, including facilitating interviews and focus groups

  • Ability to support the project in person and virtually

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with conducting research and strategy development

  • Experience with supporting the Department of Defense or military in a human-centered design capacity

  • Experience with presenting and interacting with senior-level clients

  • Knowledge of Enterprise IT Transformation

  • Ability to think creatively and synthesize information

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Human-Centered Design Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
