Summary

The Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of associates who will act as the primary contact for current and former employees with questions pertaining to the employee life cycle and managing data entry and maintenance of workflows. The Supervisor collaborates with the HRIS & HR Operations Sr. Manager as well as the HRIS Manager to ensure workflows remain fluid, as well as lead project initiatives with other groups in HR.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop HR Operations associates into a highly effective team by setting clear performance objectives and goals, providing regular and honest feedback, and establishing individual development plans as needed.
  • Lead programs, projects and process improvements within and across teams.
  • Design, develop, document, implement and improve processes, procedures and policies as it relates to employee data.
  • Coordinate as needed with the HRIS team regarding system administration for Payroll, HRIS and Benefits.
  • Provide centralized support for all benefit enrollments including annual open enrollment, roll out, and/or enhancement of new benefit plans or programs.
  • Provide centralized support for all recruitment and onboarding organization wide with processing I-9 and new hire paperwork and supporting new hire orientation.
  • Manage employment verifications and unemployment process with third party vendors, or internally.
  • Provide regular coaching and training to HR Operations associates.
  • Address complex issues by researching, gathering supporting information, and soliciting input working with appropriate business partners to resolve the issues.
  • Act as central point of contact for firm-wide Human Resources communications.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, benefit administration, recruiting, payroll, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks.
  • Prior experience developing relationships at all levels of an organization to communicate HR policies and programs.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally an in writing to a diverse audience.
  • Some working knowledge of Project Management fundamentals and applications.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
