WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analyze the organizational training gaps through needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of learning and development programs.
  • Establish an overall employee developmental training strategy based on the organizations needs
  • Design and develop employee training programs that successfully align with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Establish, refine and monitor key performance indicators to measure the impact and effectivity of learning experiences
  • Responsible for the following employee development efforts:
    • Provide oversight for new hire orientation and new employee onboarding experience
    • Provide guidance and support for employee development planning process
    • Establish training cycle to ensure leaders and employees are proficient with standardized processes (performance assessment, self-assessments, development planning, goals setting, talent management)
    • Manage developmental experiences such as Job Shadowing, Mentoring and Learning Gig programs
    • Direct oversight for intern and professional development (PDP) programs
    • Partner and collaborate with site leaders on the learning needs of the organization and establish training action plans to close gaps
    • Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
  • Serve as a consultant/change management resource for organizational initiatives as requested
  • Establish external partnerships with local high schools, technical schools, colleges and universities
  • Promote employee development programs, tools and resources through a variety of mediums (SharePoint site, monitors, email, bulletin boards).
  • Assist/back-up the site Human Resources Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communication, or another related field
  • 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or Learning & Development
  • Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs
  • High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS office and web-based systems


Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with Human Resources practices
  • Proven experience as a trainer with a focus on employee development
