JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Business Partner facilitates the day-to-day operations of assigned human resources functions and duties, while proving strategic HR-related support throughout the organization by building and maintaining strong relationships with leadership and employees.

JOB DUTIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Oversee and coordinate full cycle recruiting activities; including but not limited to: collaborating with hiring managers to understand business objectives; building active and passive candidate pools; conducting initial resume review and screening of qualified candidates; conducting back ground investigations, reference checks and drug screening; facilitating the job offer process; and coordinate new hire and first day activities.
2. Help coordinate the use of temporary employees.
3. Track and report on applicable HR metrics, work to continually improve in all areas.
4. Act as a point of contact for employee-related questions and issues; provide information as requested concerning company policies, procedures or programs.
5. Responsible for HR related files, filing system, forms and documentation.
6. Maintain content of LMS, or OxfordU e-Learning program.
7. Manage and maintain Career Path, and succession planning programs. Provide guidance and counseling to employees and supervisors regarding employee development.
8. Schedule, plan and track employee training; ensures that all certificates and licensees are documented and that team members keep on track with continuing education requirements.
9. Partner with third party safety consultants to ensure effective safety training for employees, compliance of all federal and state laws, etc. Act as primary internal point of contact for the safety program.
10. Investigate work related accidents, coordinate claim with insurance carrier, and maintain required documentation and reports. Primary point of contact for workers compensation.
11. Facilitate the organization’s Diversity and Inclusion Council.
12. Champion HR process change; analyze processes, data, and trends to make recommendations to Leadership Team for continuous improvement.
13. Provide additional support as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree and 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, or equivalent.
2. Experience with HR systems, such as ADP, is highly preferred.
3. Experience with Applicant Tracking System is highly preferred.
4. LMS administration experience is a plus.
5. Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner and speak effectively before groups of employees.
6. Have demonstrated strengths in active listening, social perceptiveness, and internal as well as external relationship building.
7. Ability to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism.
8. Ability to be flexible, motivated, resourceful, and organized to work in a multi-functional role.
9. Excellent diplomacy and judgment when handling confidential and challenging situations.
10. Proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
11. Strong results-orientation and commitment to quality, performance, and deliverables
12. Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize.
13. Perform all job duties with a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
