HR Administrator
The HR Administrator is responsible for general HR duties, including but not limited to routine administrative functions associated with the new hire and termination processes, sending data for entry in PeopleSoft employee records, personnel records filing and scanning to paperless database system, periodic routine reports, and periodic audits to ensure data integrity.

What You Will Be Doing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Administrative functions associated with the new hire process, including offer letter preparation and distribution and tracking of digital new hire paperwork. Process all paperwork ensuring accuracy of documents.
  • Support entire employee life cycle from new hire onboarding and orientations, to promotions and pay changes, to separations.
  • Administer I-9 forms and E-Verify cases to ensure proper compliance via SuccessFactors.
  • Provide support and answer questions for employees and other departments.
  • Interpret HR and Payroll business policy and procedures to provide guidance as required.
  • Explain company personnel policies and procedures to employees when needed.
  • Complete personnel change forms (PCAs) accurately and ensure proper authorization received; research and obtain additional information when required.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of employee records and data:
  • Accurately submits to OA employee record information, including new hires, status changes and terminations and verifies changes are completed correctly
  • Work with IT; Generate IT Change Requests related to PCAs.
  • Administrative functions associated with the separation process, including termination letter preparation and distribution and tracking of termination packets. Process all paperwork ensuring accuracy of documents.
  • Answer questions regarding employment history, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
  • Utilize proprietary applicant tracking system (Cyrus) for research of unemployment claims, job search verifications, etc.
  • Ability to address and identify problems/exceptions and troubleshoot or resolve as required.
  • Ensure administrative processes, including SOX guidelines are followed.
  • Administer the annual performance review and quarterly MBO process via SuccessFactors.
  • Assists with general administrative needs, including mass-mailings, copying, and document/presentation preparation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing managers, employees, and co-workers.
  • Complete a variety of special projects (E.g. I-9 audits, compensation planning, flu shots, SuccessFactors updates, etc.)
  • Provide assistance to other departments as requested.
  • Provide backup to the other staff members of the office in accordance with our culture of teamwork and professionalism.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.

EDUCATION

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

EXPERIENCE

-3 - 5 years administrative experience required
  • Minimum 2+ years Human Resources experience preferred
  • Experience with filing employee records.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Computer Skills
  • Working knowledge of personnel database management required; PeopleSoft preferred.
