Now is a great time to work with Covenant Living at the Holmstad in our Housekeeping Department! We seeking a full time Housekeeper to provide peace of mind and joy to our residents as we work as a team to provide top notch customer service daily!

This position is from 6:00am-2:30pm, working during the weekdays and every other weekend. Days off when working the weekend are Monday/Friday.

Pay starting at $15.00 and up based on experience and background.

In this role, the Housekeeper will:

• Perform cleaning functions using departmental standards and infection control guidelines.
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills that are observed or reported.
• Remove trash and/or recyclables from collection points, transport to dumpster/trash pick-up areas. Replacing trash liners as needed.
• Deep clean rooms/units as needed, in accordance with department standards. This could include moving furniture to clean certain areas of a home/room.
• Observe and report the need for repairs to facilities, furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Provide light maintenance assistance such as changing a light bulb, replacing a battery, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Some high school education.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within standard policy and procedures, with limited direct supervision.
• An interest in and desire to work with older adults is desired.
• Requires availability on weekends and holidays.
