What you can expect:

• Anticipate guests’ needs, acknowledge all guest requests and be willing to consistently exceed all guest expectations.
• Possess an extensive / intimate knowledge of the hotel operational policies and procedures, as guests will require a vast array of resort services and information.
• Graciously welcome guests to Kiawah Island, and wish them safe travels upon departure.
• Transport Kiawah Resort guests to their island destination while providing excellent guest service.
• Carefully carry baggage to and from guest villas and homes, while also helping acclimate guests with their accommodations as needed.
• Perform deliveries of amenities, golf bags, luggage, and other items when needed.
• Inspect van before each shift for any safety concerns, as well as cleanliness inside and out.
• Maintain and uphold the appearance of our Vehicle Fleet, including cleaning interior and exterior of equipment.
• Facilitate guest traffic in the lobby, open doors, and be available to answer questions while not transporting guests.
• Must be someone who appreciates the opportunity to be of service to others as one of the main responsibilities of this role is to offer assistance to all guests who request it.
• All other duties, as assigned.

What are some qualifications: Required:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent GED required; college degree strongly preferred.
• Clean driving record with a valid licenses
• Team-oriented mentality, with ability to work independently.
• Must be responsible and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm (including weekends and Holidays).
