Host/Hostess Job at Blue Gate Hospitality
Join our team at the Blue Gate Restaurant as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will effectively communicate with guests from all over the country, from welcoming them upon arrival to thanking them as they leave. Your primary responsibilities are:
- Greeting guests
- Answering questions and providing information
- Taking guests to their table
- Operating a cash register
A Host/Hostess works a rotation on stations with different responsibilities daily, which provides variety and helps develop new skills. A host/hostess can work part-time, up to four shifts per week, including evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays. No Sundays! Adult wages start at $15.00 per hour.

Host/Hostess Requirements:
- Welcoming personality
- Must display a wiliness to communicate professionally with guests, co-workers, and managers
- Must perform the job duties accurately and efficiently
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing for an entire shift, bending and, stretching, moving, and lifting
- Working as a successful part of the team
- Must be at least 17 years old
