· Reports to: General Manager/ Team Lead

Summary:

· A host is responsible for making guests feel welcomed and informed about what 810 Billiards and Bowling has to offer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Greet and interact with customers.

· Know all bowling and gaming prices.

· Maintain a reservation system for gaming.

· Oversee customer bowling and gaming experience.

· Communicate with team members throughout the shift.

· Stay updated on current specials offered.

Qualifications:

· Must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory level.

· Education and/or Experience:

o 2 years secondary education and must be of legal age per local law.

· Computer Skills:

o Ability to operate POS register system.

o Ability to understand Microsoft Windows.

· Language Skills:

o Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

o Ability to write simple correspondence.

o Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and fellow team members.

· Mathematical Skills:

o Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

o Ability to compute rate and percent.

· Reasoning Ability:

o Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions.

o Ability to efficiently work with people.

· Other Skills and Abilities:

o Must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

o Must have a positive, courteous, energetic, and enthusiastic personality. These traits should be used in all aspects of customer and coworker interactions.

· Physical Demands:

o While performing the duties of this job a bartender is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

o Reach with hands and arms to move items up to 50 pounds.

o Talk and hear.

o Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and depth perception.

Job Duties:

· Greet guests with a smile and pleasant tone of voice.

· Explain bowling and gaming options to guests.

· Open bowling lanes, issue shoes, answer any guest questions regarding bowling, gaming, specials, and address lane malfunctions.

· Issue equipment for billiards, board games, corn hole, darts, mini golf, ping pong, shuffleboard etc.

· Offer and explain the 810-loyalty program.

· Assist guests to their lanes.

· Clean and sanitize all returned equipment and shoes.

· Assist with the cleaning of the lanes to help manage lane turnover rates.

· Efficiently manage any and all gaming waitlists.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
