Homeless Resource Navigator Job at Lakeland Family Resource Center
Lakeland Family Resource Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the community and quality of life for children and families.
Lakeland Family Resource Center has an opening for a full-time Homeless Resource Navigator. Funding for this position is from May 1, 2023 - September 30, 2024.
The Homeless Resource Navigator will provide wrap-around and case management to students and families experiencing homelessness within Washburn and Burnett County School Districts. Main office will be held at Lakeland Family Resource Center in Spooner.
You must be self-motivated, have strong communication skills and be able to work independently.
- A degree in Human Services, Social Services, Education or related field preferred
- Previous work experience in a public education setting desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license, liability insurance and access to reliable transportation
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of community resources
- Comfortable with In-Home Visits
Salary commensurate with education and experience level. Benefits included. Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM but can vary to include some evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Full-time. This position is supported by grants and hours are based on continued funding.
