Home Health Nurse

Dependable Staffing Agency is looking to hire compassionate, competent, and dedicated Registered Nurses to work as Home Health Nurses. These are immediate openings. If you have a desire to make a difference in your field with your knowledge, skills, and service, you are in the right place.

A home health nurse provides appropriate nursing care in a residential setting. The ideal nurse will deliver high level of caring and empathy while following the treatment plan to include administering medications, tracking vitals, providing wound and catheter care. Additionally, the home health nurse will chart progress and disposed of hazardous materials in appropriate containers.

The ideal candidate must be an R.N. and have a current Washington State license and 3+ years of nursing experience in a residential setting. This R.N. must be willing to pass a background check as a part of the hiring process, have reliable transportation to the residential setting and be able to cover any shift. The R.N. must feel confident in providing nursing care without oversight and be able to create rapport with patient and family members.

Responsibilities for Home Health Nurse

• Patient Assessment
• Demonstrate caring and empathy
• Take and track vital signs
• Measure and administer medications as prescribed
• Provide wound care, as needed
• Provide catheter care
• Ensure patient is fed and bathed
• Ensure bedding is clean
• Track and order supplies

Qualifications for Home Health Nurse

• Associate's degree in nursing, required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred
• Nursing experience
• Nursing experience in a residential setting
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts
• Reliable transportation to the residential setting
• Must feel confident providing nursing care without oversight
• Ability to create rapport with patient and family members
• Excellent communication skills

Job Requirements:

• Valid HCA License
• Nationally Certified is a must
