Position Summary:

The Histology Technician prepares tissue specimens for a variety of diagnostic procedures. Additional responsibilities include performing histological procedures requiring special stains and collecting and analyzing data. Some travel may be necessary.

Requirements:


Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree in laboratory or medical laboratory technology preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a Histological setting required
  • HT or HTL (ASCP) certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel when necessary
