The qualified individual will report to the Executive Office IT Chief to coordinate issues pertaining to tickets submitted to IRM. They will act as a single point of contact to centralize support for the Executive Office with issues stemming from IT consolidation.

Location: Arlington, VA
Minimum Clearance: Interim Secret
Work Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite, 3 days a week remote

Clearance: Interim Secret Responsibilities:

  • Work with EX and customers in other offices in CGFS to advise, track, escalate and report on tickets submitted to IRM.
  • Respond to questions from clients on matters relating to Microsoft Office (to include formatting, shortcuts, spreadsheet design, formulas, pivot tables, etc.), and other generic software programs.
  • Trouble shoot for laptop and desktop problems to include re-imaging, connectivity to printers, etc.).
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow-up with customersto include published office hours, visits to clients’ desks, etc.
  • Assist with coordinating equipment for presentations to management.
  • Working with IRM to pilot various mobile computing devices (upgrades and now).
  • Act as a point of contact between EX customers and IRM regarding issues with tickets.
  • Assist the IT team with drafting and maintaining QWis, network diagrams, meeting minutes and other technical documentation.
  • Attend meetings with IRM to keep abreast of changes in Department IT policy as well as reporting changes to the IT Chief.
  • Assist with managing IT licenses and hardware inventory, including mobile devices.
  • Troubleshooting of desktop/laptop issues.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar relevant field
  • 2+ years’ experience working with an IT Help Desk
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Customer service oriented and patient
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues and mobile devices
  • Experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 10)
