The Purpose of Your Role:

The Manager, Health & Welfare Service Team is responsible for managing the Health & Welfare Account Management Team, as well as maintaining professional relationships with Sentinel’s client base. The role requires the individual to lead a team of Account Managers who are ultimately responsible for delivering top-notch service to our clients. Beyond that, the individual will assist team members with escalated inquiries, training, and create tools to help each team member be more effective and efficient.

You will build tools and processes that foster positive results in the area of client experience and service excellence.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Create and add to Sentinel’s suite of tools to assist both clients and team members.
  • Help team members learn and grow by sharing industry and technical knowledge, as well as providing tools and support.
  • Assist direct reports with escalated issues and inquiries from clients.
  • Manage team member caseloads by continuously balancing client assignments.
  • Oversee team member scheduling to ensure 100% client coverage and that all Sentinel service levels are met.
  • Set client meetings with specific Sentinel clients on a set frequency.
  • Other projects as needed.

About you:

We are looking for someone with customer centric attitude, drive, determination, and analytical skills. The financial services industry is forever changing and we are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to embrace change.

What you need to have:

  • BS or BA level degree in business administration, communications, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of account management, administrative, or related experience in the financial or benefits services industry
  • Ability to communicate with clients to problem-solve and to create a positive experience
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and industry experience
  • This is a remote or hybrid role.
