This position provides evening and weekend coverage for both Placentia-Linda and Fountain Valley Regional hospital. Performs a variety of day-to-day technical duties including record processing, chart completion, and physician support. This position provides cross coverage for various positions in the department. The position must be able to work independently with little supervisor during off hours. This position has a dual reporting role to the Director and Manager of Health Information Services.
Ability to multitask and work both independently and with a team of individuals. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with physicians and hospital staff. Must be computer literate and have experience working with a computerized medical record system. Effective communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement in areas of assigned responsibility.
- 5+ years in a Hospital Health Information Management environment with hands-on experience in medical records processing functions or physician support functions
Pay Range: $18.17 - $27.25
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
