Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR)/ Bureau for Public Health (BPH) /Office of Maternal Child and Family Development / Kanawha Co. As Supervisor for the Adult Services projects, for the Oral Health Program, is responsible for providing oversight for adult services projects and staff. The Incumbent will develop, implement and sustain the policies and procedures for adult services projects; provide technical assistance to participating dental and vision providers, as well as Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) county staff; and monitor financial processes and budget for adult services projects in collaboration with Program Director and BPH Finance. The supervisor must represent adult services projects as serving as a liaison to various state level programs, dental and vision service providers and county DHHR offices. With project staff support, this position will document technical assistance, recruitment efforts and site visits for monthly reporting to Program Manager. The Incumbent will develop and maintain positive collaborations with internal and external partners to facilitate efficient project implementation and growth and attend state and national meetings representing adult services projects as applicable. The employee will provide final approval of pre-treatment dental and vision services, coverage of special codes and resolution of difficult billing issues, consulting with the State Dental Director when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Training:Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.

Substitution: Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.

Experience:Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment.
Substitution: Post-graduate education in a field related to the technical or program area may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one year of experience.
