Head Housekeeper Job at HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS-Newington
Head Housekeeper Tasks:
- Supervise housekeeping staff, preparing schedules, assigning duties, and providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, coordinating or ordering replacements and equipment repair.
- Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and issues and manage lost and found.
- Coordinate and/or facilitate housekeeping staff training on standard operating procedures, safety policies, and health/sanitation regulations.
- Inspect premises, public areas, and/or guest rooms, ensuring compliance to company procedures and health/sanitation standards.
- Working hand in hand with houseman directing their duties as well.
- Weekly meeting with General Manager and Maintenance.
Being computer ready is a must having to change dirty rooms to clean after they are inspected.
Each day we use an app to explain what was done in your department. Marking exactly how many cleans and stayovers!!!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
