POSITION TITLE: Hazardous Materials Driver
Location: Pharr, TX.
Hire Pay: Up to $1,200 Weekly commission.
Classification: Full-time.

JOB SUMMARY:
Petrochemical Hazardous Materials Driver
needed ASAP. Will be hauling petrochemicals, Hazmat, bulk liquids, etc. throughout the Rio Grande Valley and parts of South Texas.
Essential Job Functions:
- General awareness/familiarization: intended to raise the hazmat employees' awareness and understanding of the hazard communication requirements.
- Function-specific training: intended to teach the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for an individual's job function.
- Safety training: provides information concerning the hazards posed by materials in the workplace and personal protection measures.
- Security Training: awareness of security risks associated with hazardous materials transportation and methods designed to enhance transportation security.
- Inspecting vehicles to ensure they are properly equipped with warning lights, flags, and labels indicating hazardous materials are being carried
- Following all laws regarding traffic rules, speed limits, and safe driving practices when transporting hazardous materials
- Reporting any unsafe conditions of the vehicle to the appropriate supervisor
- Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed by federal regulations.
- Following standard operating procedures for loading and unloading hazardous materials safely and efficiently
- Ensuring that all safety equipment is functioning properly before transporting hazardous materials
- Maintaining detailed records of all shipments of hazardous materials
- Reporting any incidents involving hazardous materials to supervisors or authorities as required by law
- Ensuring that the vehicle is in good working order before each trip by performing inspections on the engine, tires, lights, brakes, etc.
- performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Commercial driving: 5 years (Required)
- Hazmat: 2 years (Required)
- clean record
License/Certification:
- CDL A (Required)
- Hazmat Endorsement (H)
- Tanker Endorsement(N)
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to the DLP Staffing & Temp Services, LLC, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
