• Where: Lake Oswego, OR

• Schedule: Mon-Wed 9-5; Thur 8:30-3:30

About the Family:

• First-time parents of energetic 1 year old
• Mom works as a mental health professional primarily from her home office and describes herself as focused, empathetic, communicative, yet quiet.
• Dad works for a start up is works outside the home. He is goal-oriented, hard-working, musical and thoughtful.
• Child is almost 1 y/o and very energetic! They are happy and curious as you would expect for this age group.
• Their large dog can be described as anxious, but warms up to people quickly and with the proper introduction. She will be kept separate from the nanny and supervised closely anytime she's not with Mom in the office or crated.

Their Ideal Nanny:

• Energetic and able to keep up with a 1 y/o in a 3 story house.
• Knowledgeable of or familiar with a child-led (Montessori-style) approach.
• Outdoorsy and ready to be outside in all sorts of weather.
• Has food allergy awareness and/or training in the use of an epipen.
• Communicative and collaborative with parents and child.
• Comfortable with large dogs

Requirements:

• Extensive nanny or child care experience with 1 y/o*
• CPR/First Aid infant certified
• Able to navigate stairs multiple times per day
• Comfortable with an anxious dog
• Fully vaccinated including Covid-19
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willing to authorize a background check

*Years of experience and education must be obtained after candidate was over the age of 18 and graduated from high school.

NOTE: Family is awaiting an opening in day care. Nanny will be provided with a 30 day notice and severance if contract must be cut short.
