Martha and Mary Health Services is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and professional licensed beautician to join our team as our Stylist/Beautician. General Description

The Stylist/Beautician will work on our team to serve and care for our residents in need by performing all professional hair care given in the facility – all while offering friendly and emotional support to all of our residents.

Schedule:

We are looking for someone who would like to work 2 or 3 days a week! Flexible schedule options - 15 hours a week!

Starting wage is $20/hr. up to $22/hr. depending on related experience as determined by Supervisor and HR


Some fun things you’ll do:

  • Provide professional hair care services to all residents under our care. Services may include: haircuts, perms, sets, shampoos, and coloring
  • Stay organized and maintain a card file on each resident, make and keep appointments, fill out charge slips, and gather resident and/or witness signatures as required
  • Coordinate schedules and services with the nursing department
  • Assist in transporting and/or transferring residents to and from their appointments in the facility
  • Maintain supplies and keep the salon neat and tidy
  • May also assist residents to eat in dining rooms as regulations allow

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued at varying rates depending on length of employment. Accrual rates begin at 5.32 hours per month based on a 40-hour workweek. These accruals include the required sick leave per Washington State’s Paid Sick Leave Law
