THE GUEST SERVICE MANAGER IS IN CHARGE OF DAILY FOH DUTIES. THE GUEST SERVICE MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING AND IN THE MOMENT COACHING OF FOH STAFF DURING SERVICE. THEY WILL GARNER GUEST FEEDBACK THROUGH TABLE TOUCHES, GREETING PATRONS, AND KNOWLEDGE BASED OBSERVATIONS. THE GUEST SERVICE MANAGER WILL REPORT TO THE CHEF/GM FOR RESTAURANT RESPONSIBILITIES.
Responsibilities:
- manage the front of house
- manage event guest service at all events
- schedules service staff
- assist chef in evaluations/corrective action
- work with chef on menu understanding
- communicate menu to service staff to ensure proper guest service
- create and maintain event notes
- ensure safety for guests and employees
- perform guest service recovery
- direct supervisor to FOH staff
Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational skill
- Ability to lift 80 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent de-escalation skills
- Vision for both event and dinner service flow, to ensure completion of all required tasks
- Dinner Service execution
- Bar Management
- Bar menu & recipe creation and approval
- Food handler’s card
- Reliable transportation
- Current driver’s license & clean driving record
- 2-3 year management experience required
- ServSafe certified
