Ground Software Engineer

Work in a fast-paced high energy environment working with leading edge spacecraft ground software for commercial and government programs. Provide ground system development and support for internal and external customers in our Littleton, CO office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ground system tools to complement ASI satellite flight software suite
  • Deploy and configure satellite ground systems
  • Establish monitoring and alerting to detect system degradation and outages
  • Perform application administration
  • Identify ground system issues and provide technical insight for resolution
  • Working in a team environment as well as individually

Required Skills: (Candidates MUST meet all required skills to be considered)

  • B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or Physics with significant computer science coursework
  • Kubernetes deployment orchestration
  • 3+ years of full stack software development experience including:
    • Backend - Python and/or Golang
    • Frontend - Typescript and/or JavaScript (Angular or React)
    • Database - PostgreSQL or equivalent, set up and replication
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person

Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree
  • Log monitoring setup (e.g., Loki)
  • Clustered RabbitMQ setup
  • OAuth server setup (KeyCloak)
  • Web Development
  • Docker

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Estimated salary wage (Colorado only): Compensation: $92,000 to $110,000
