POSITION PURPOSE

The Greeter position creates legendary experiences by engaging with guests as they enter the sports bar, ensuring they are seated in an efficient and effective manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warmly welcomes guests when they enter the sports bar, making personalized and authentic connections • Engages with guests waiting to be seated • Seats guests in a timely manner, manages waitlists and follows station rotation to ensure efficient guest throughput • Communicates closely with servers throughout steps of service • Assists with running food, pre-bussing, and bussing/resetting tables • Complies with all specs, quality standards, and department rules and procedures • Maintains high standards of cleanliness and keeps a sanitized and orderly environment in the HOH and FOH o As needed: empties trash, cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces (e.g. food window, takeout order bagging area, etc.) Cleans guest areas (entryway, restrooms, etc.) Cleans and stocks host station, takeout counter, and server side stations. Utilizes dishwasher to clean dishware, silverware, and cups. Deep cleans as assigned • Thanks guests and invites them back on their way out • Assists others as needed • Diligently follows safety requirements and models behavior that protects them and others • Stays current on all federal, state, local and company required training and certifications • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Required

• Minimum 16 years of age (or higher per applicable law) • Certified in any state, county, or local food or alcohol handling requirements

GREETER JOB DESCRIPTION

Preferred • Prior experience working in a restaurant or customer service role

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires frequent standing, sitting, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a restaurant environment. If asked to perform task outside of physical capabilities, be sure to notify your manager. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
