Overview:

We are seeking full-time creative graphic designers with experience in toys and collectibles to join our GreenLight Collectibles Design Team. GreenLight designs, manufacturers and markets authentic scale model cars, replica figures, accessories and dioramas. Your work will go on to be seen at retail stores and via e-commerce platforms throughout the USA and the world! Graphic design at GreenLight means working with some of the biggest brands in the world from automotive industry to gas, oil and tire brands, to many of the largest film and television studios in the world.

Job Description:

  • Be able to create illustrations and graphics in a variety of styles appropriate for toy and collectible markets
  • Have interest in and/or experience with product design for automotive themed products
  • Have great communication and organizational skills. Being able to multi-task projects at different stages of development
  • Be able to work well as a part of a design team, as well work independently on project assignments
  • Have a well-rounded knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Pantone color system
  • Be able to complete two-dimensional car artwork and packaging artwork, as well as make revisions per customer request and/or licensor request; accurately compare decorated samples to artwork for inconsistencies; provide feedback to GreenLight Asia team on product development to ensure accuracy from concept to final delivery
  • Design trade show materials, which can include trade show floor displays, signage, pop-up banners, catalogs and product preview decks
  • Mock-up creation for new concepts
  • Interface with and serve as a liaison between Sales and Production teams
  • Participate in weekly project tracking meetings and problem solve product development issues as part of a team
  • Brainstorming new concepts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline
  • Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Professional commercial design experience, preferably within the toy industry; or alternatively, with a marketing or creative agency
  • Adaptive design eye and skill, especially within the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
