We are looking for a Graphic Designer for our Macon, Georgia store. Must have prior Graphic Designer experience. Experience in prior signage, CorelDraw, Illustrator a plus.

The qualified applicant will posses an eye for detail and project management. This person will be ultimately responsible for the creation of the design from the customer idea through production.

Responsibilities are:

  • must maintain an understanding of company goals, design and quality standards
  • will work with clients to help create or recreate full color / vinyl graphics to be printed on a large format printer and mounted to a substrate
  • Review graphics, layouts and fonts before products are completed
  • Finalize designs using image editing software
  • work with designs for commercial and residential indoor and outdoor signs, vehicle wraps, banners, channel letters, monuments, etc.
  • Work with FTP access, photo library, PDF's, and online proofs
  • will need to interpret work orders and instructions to determine design outcome, size and materials
  • Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital formats
  • Work with customers to achieve desired product and obtain approval
  • Collaborate with co-workers and management to coordinate job flow
  • Follow deadlines to ensure timely publications
  • Archive produced images and graphics
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their requirements are met
  • Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design techniques and software

Skills

  • Must have proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
  • must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality of designs
  • Hands-on experience with graphic design software and image editing tools (e.g. Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web development systems
  • knowledge of typography and font styles
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creativity skills with attention to detail

Salary based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

Education: Degree in Graphic Design or related field, preferred

Our customers must wear a mask in our facility. We have our facility commercially treated with a disinfectant and we disinfect our frequently touched surfaces several times a day. We also practice social distancing as often as possible.
