Ingram Content Group (ICG)
is hiring for a Graphic Designer to contribute to our Marketing team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. This person must live in the local area.

The Graphic Designer conceptualizes, plans, designs, and produces a wide range of creative solutions for all of the ICG business channels. This person uses an understanding of design principles to create solutions for marketing programs and services of the company as a way to increase visibility, customer focus, improve sales performance, and increase Ingram’s image/identity/brand. They create and ensure production of all assigned projects for both print and digital mediums. In addition, the Graphic Designer utilizes working knowledge of design software and industry-standard creative processes to complete tasks within intensive deadlines, while working under minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or year for year related experience
  • At least 1 year of graphic or web design experience, such as internships, practicum, bootcamps, or post-graduate projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator or similar design software
  • Ability to share a Portfolio that demonstrates skills and designs
  • Web and email design experience
  • Knowledge of video or animation design

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers unique, creative solutions, driven from existing corporate identity and strategy or project guidelines, by utilizing successful typography, page layout, and functional design.
  • Creates a variety of design projects including print collateral, digital banners, emails, landing pages, and web pages
  • Seeks to actively improve design solutions by examining the marketing and visual requirements of assigned projects and makes recommendations as needed. (Examines message, tone, brand, usage, etc. compared to just visual aesthetics.)
  • Participates and contributes as a team member with Marketing and Creative Services to develop graphic solutions that support the objectives/strategy of the communication vehicle.
  • Works collaboratively with other associates; providing constructive, results driven feedback/comments to improve the outcome of projects.
