Okefenokee Country Club is Hiring for a full time equipment operator in the grounds department. Join a hardworking and enthusiastic team where you will work in an outdoor environment on a beautiful golf course.
Functions
Operates various types of equipment, including but not limited to, walk behind mowers, triplex mowers, large area reel and rotary style mowers, blowers, and hand-held tools and equipment.
May operate smaller equipment as directed by his/her supervisor.
Ensures that the equipment cooling system is always working; refills fuel and oil daily; cleans equipment daily; and reports equipment problems or failures to the Superintendent immediately.
Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the superintendent and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor
Responsibilities include mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough, setting up the golf course for daily play.
Employment standards
Knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of tractors and other motorized equipment.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Possession of a valid driver's licenses

Depending of experience

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
