Duties & Responsibilities:
Included but are not limited to:
Daily repair & adjustment of golf course equipment and cutting units. Routine preventative maintenance. Diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures. Knowledge of gasoline, diesel, and electric motors. Maintain service records on all pieces of equipment. Operate an organized, clean, and safe work area. Place orders with distributors for repair parts. Work within an operational budget. Reel/bedknife grinding.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a golf course mechanic preferred, but not required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
Must be self-motivated and communicate to the Superintendent daily.
Candidate Responsible to: Golf Course Superintendent
Salary Range: $18-$22/hour – dependent upon experience.
