We need an experienced General Manager to lead our growing team! If you have cannabis experience, ample retail experience, and/or have assisted with shop operations, we want to speak with you!

As General Manager for our Santa Fe location, you are responsible for making sure the business runs efficiently and remains profitable to the organization.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Leadership Team with building a team from the ground up, as well as leading onboarding efforts and annual training efforts for your crew.
  • Inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service and experience.
  • Implement company policies and ensure staff adhere to best practices.
  • Liaison with law enforcement, local and state officials, vendors, and local community.
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of all customers and employees.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all the store’s transactions and operations.
  • Educates staff and customers on the various strains, uses, and methods of delivery and titration.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge and complies with all state/municipal laws and regulations.
  • Ensures overall safety & cleanliness of the store.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the team.
  • Maintains open communication with management and retail staff.
  • Naturally demonstrates RMC's core values: respect, compassion, integrity, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Order store supplies including drams, labels, exit bags and all other needed inventory.
  • Process employee payroll and expenses on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Manage inventory process for accuracy.
  • Process and handle large amounts of cash with integrity.
  • Ensure daily accuracy of sales revenue reporting.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of NM CCD laws.
  • Demonstrate high quality customer service and care.
  • Work varied hours and days as business dictates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in retail, and hospitality, or customer service preferred.
  • Cannabis experience a plus.
  • 21 years of age or over.
  • Willing to work long days and weekends with a flexible work schedule, based on business needs.
  • Must be computer friendly and able to learn any new programs that are New Mexico specific or related to the field -- Microsoft Word/Excel, Metrc, Greenbits, BioTrack, Hiring & Scheduling platforms, for instance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A sincere interest in thriving in the cannabis industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
