We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our breakfast & lunch restaurant in Nassau County. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent leadership and decision-making skills, able to manage people and budgets, and committed to helping our company grow and thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a full service restaurant
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude

Salary and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with experience, and benefits will be available as part of the compensation package. This is a full-time position based on 50+/- hours per week.

The right candidate must be able to commute to one of our Suffolk locations for a period of training prior to the new restaurant opening.
