Rogers Group is seeking a GENERAL LABORER for our operation located in ENNIS, TX . We offer a competitive pay with health, dental, vision, 401K, short term disability, long term disability and life insurance benefits. We also offer a variety of safety equipment, paid holidays and paid vacations.

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  • General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assist with plant clean up and operations
  • Being trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times
  • Report equipment problems and identify them to management
  • Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines
  • Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable
  • Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management

Wages starting at $18.00/hr. Higher compensation offered with experience and service time.

Qualifications

  • Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment
  • Ability to maintain safe working conditions
  • Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
  • Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
