General Laborer Job at International Paper (Arden Hills, MN)
We are seeking General Laborers! This is your opportunity to be part of International Paper, a Fortune 500 company and global leader in paper and packaging products.
Currently we have openings on2nd Shift and 3rd Shifts
Pay Rate: $20.22/hr up to $24.32/hr with a $1000.00 signing bonus
"General Labor" position open with the potential to be a machine operator or assistant machine operator, in our Arden Hills facility at: 1300 Red Fox Road, Arden Hills, MN. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products. We are looking for motivated individuals, who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible and fast-paced production environment.
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Safely operating machinery
The ability to practice housekeeping
Reading Factory orders
Setting up orders, which may include carrying tooling (i.e. ink buckets, printing dies and cutting dies) to machine centers
Utilizing basic shop math such as: accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment.
Consistent quality and count of inspection of product
Accurately completing quality and administrative document checks to ensure specific directions are followed.
Working in a team environment so attendance is a requirement
Minimum qualifications for consideration:
At least 6 months of verifiable work experience
Working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
The hiring process for successful candidate will include an interview, background check and a health/drug screen.
