We are looking to add a General Accountant to join our finance team. This is a hands-on position with great potential for professional growth.

GENERAL ACCOUNTANT
Location: Asia (Remote)
What You Will Do
- Ownership of full cycle AP, AR, and revenue month-end close procedures including posting of journal
entries, updating of schedules, and completion of account reconciliations - AP cycle ownership:
- Processing authorized purchase order requests
- Matching invoices to supplier purchase orders and posting invoices and credit notes, reconciling
supplier statements - Reviewing and processing employee expense claims in line with company policy
- Process and code invoices and expense reports in multiple currencies/li>
- Monitor accruals
- AR cycle ownership including:
- Raising invoices in accordance with contract billing milestones
- Credit control monitoring including escalation to C-Suite as required
- Ensure compliance with statutory and accounting policies, procedures, and controls, and filing deadlines
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Update internal cashflow actuals and maintain forecast assumptions
- Raising and following up queries both internally and externally where necessary
- Willing to take on responsibilities beyond described herewith and provide support on ad-hoc requests/projects.
What Do We Want
- Post-secondary education in accounting
- Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook, Excellent understanding on chart of accounts
- Knowledge on Indonesian statutory compliance and filing is preferred
- Optional Skills: Acumatica, Netsuite, and exposure to Group IFRS Consolidation financial reporting packages
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English is a must
- Excellent sense of time deadlines and able to work in a fast- paced environment
- Team player with an ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Ability to read customer contracts and PO’s
