Responsible for upkeep of buildings, fencing, animal enclosures and grounds/roads of the Drive-Thru and Walkabout Adventure Zoo. Must be comfortable working around animals. Will not be required to be with wild animals unsupervised but will have to work near animals and exhibits. Full Time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.

Requirements

*At least 18 years of age or older *Legally authorized to work in the United States *Pass a pre-employment drug test after offer of employment is made *Hold a valid Driver’s License *Full-time applicants must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and/or holidays, 32-40 hours a week *Part-time applicants must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week and be available weekends *General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and general power tools *Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Preferred Skills & Attributes

*Small & large engine repair and maintenance *Welding and metal work experience preferred *Ability to drive & maneuver trailers *Complete assigned tasks with a positive attitude *Demonstrate initiative

Payrates

• Entry level maintenance positions base pay rate is and up depending on experience and part-time/full-time status
