North Chandler Place is seeking a Full Time or Part Time Housekeeping Aides!

Position Summary:

As an important member of our team, the Housekeeping Aide performs day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and North Chandler standards. Your role will be performing day to day housekeeping duties including: dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.

Responsibilities:

• Emptying, cleaning, and relining all waste receptacles
• Ensuring routine cleaning of all restrooms/bathrooms, including fixtures, exposed plumbing, walls and floors. Keeping facility supplied with paper towels, soap and other needed items.
• Buffing all hard surface floors with commercial cleaning equipment and also carpet cleaner.
• Washing walls, windows, doors and door frames.
• Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Completes daily cleaning assignments
• Maintains a clean and sanitized work environment
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes both lavatory, shower and sink fixtures and facilities; stocks dispensers as necessary.
• Scrubs bath and shower room tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Ensures cleaning chemicals are kept stored and locked when not in use.
• Ensures any cords, carts, equipment and other hazards are kept out of the way at all times, not blocking exits and in compliance with fire codes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred but not required
• Healthcare/skilled nursing home experience preferred.
• Must be confident in using commercial carpet cleaning equipment.
