Full-Time Front Desk/Prior Authorization Specialist (PMI) Job at PRIME MEDICAL IMAGING
Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for prior authorizations for our imaging center, and on an as-needed basis for interacting with patients on the phone to schedule exams. Responsibilities include: managing patient insurance authorizations, interacting with referring physician offices over the phone to coordinate patient care, and working closely with office manager, other patient care coordinators, and billing staff. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent telephone and personal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and programs
- High commitment to customer service
- Prior experience obtaining authorizations for a medical office is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
