We have two amazing families in Fair Haven looking to hire a nanny to care for their infant daughters. Both families are first time parents and live within a 5 minute walk of each other. Their daughters are 5mo and 6mo. It’s the perfect nanny share set up!

The hours will be Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm for a total of 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Start date is ASAP but the families are flexible. The most important thing is finding the right fit. This position is long term, for at least 1 year, but likely longer.

Ideal candidates will be experienced with infants and toddlers, safety conscious, flexible, a good communicator and reliable! Someone who has a team mentality and willingness to be collaborative with both sets of parents and has a true love for children will be a great fit for these families.

Responsibilities will include complete childcare for both children and light household tasks that directly involve the children (when time allows): laundry for the children, and keeping play spaces/bedrooms/common areas tidy throughout the day.

There is a friendly dog (Goldendoodle) in one of the homes and a low allergen cat in the other home. The nanny will not be responsible to provide care for the animals. Interested candidates should be pet friendly though!

All 4 parents work from home (separate home offices) and plan to have the nanny rotate between houses every other week (open to suggestions from the nanny about the rotation schedule as well).

The nanny should have their own car to get to and from work each day but a family car will be provided for the nanny to use to transport the children to local classes, activities, and the parks that are not within walking distance.

Interested candidates should be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID and up to date on all other vaccines included TDAP and yearly flu shot. Both sets of parents are fully vaccinated.

The families are offering a generous weekly pay, based on the guaranteed hours along with paid vacation, holidays, and sick/personal days. On the books pay is possible.
