About the Role
Magnit is looking for Frontend Engineers wanting to join a creative and fast-moving team. You will be using GraphQL and ReactJS to develop and solve problems facing users and the business. As a fast-moving company, developers are expected to think creatively, question requirements, and experiment with developing improvements to services and web UIs.
You should have a strong Javascript foundation and experience with developing using open-source technologies to solve the problems at hand. You must be passionate about clean front-end code and automation and are not satisfied with the status quo. Strive for simple and smooth-running solutions.

What You Will Do
- Developing UIs for internal and external users
- Developing, testing, and deploying changes to various services within our system
- Ensuring project dependencies are reliably upgraded, tested, and deployed
- Developing and designing new UIs and interactions in our user facing applications
- Implementing and improving design systems and their components
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or industry experience
- At least 3-5 years of Software Development experience
- Experience with a continuous integration and delivery model of deploying software
- Experience with standard Javascript tooling like NodeJS/NPM/etc.
- Confident working with HTML/CSS/JS
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with *nix systems, bash/zsh, and ssh
- Using Git & GitHub to collaborate on and developing projects
- Consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs for frontend UIs
- Developing UIs using ReactJS/Relay/Typescript/etc.
- Familiarity with RelayJS/MobX/XState state management solutions is a plus
- Experience with NextJS/Vite/Create-React-App tooling is a plus
- Experience with Playwright/Cypress/Jest based UI testing
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies including IaaC, regression testing, continuous integration, and push button deployments, is a plus
