Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile a 419-room full-service hotel is located in the heart of Chicago, steps from the shops, charming restaurants on Michigan Ave and the city’s most famous destinations such as the Gold Coast, John Hancock Building, Navy Pier and Lake Michigan. The hotel offers 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space with natural sunlight throughout including two ballrooms.
Position Info
The Front Desk Supervisor will assist in the supervision of the front desk staff to ensure guest service and operations meet standards. This position works the front desk as needed, trains staff, and responds to more complex questions and exceptions. Will organize, confirm, process, and conduct guest check-in/out, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations. Secure payment, and verify and adjust billing, activate and distribute room keys, process all guest requests and relay messages. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and exceed all guest expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior cash handling experience necessary
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • Six months Front Desk experience
  • Strong computer skills
