NorthStar Healthcare Starkville is looking to add a multi-tasking team player to our ever-growing team! This job position is vital for our office to run smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for a real go getter and someone who is not afraid of a challenge.
This position is made for the multi-tasker! You will be handling patients coming in, calls to the office, and other front desk duties. As well as providing back up and help with working up patients for the provider. Experience with eClinical Works is recommended but not required. Valid MA license is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answering Phone Calls and Returning Voicemails
· Patient Scheduling
· Collection of Copay’s and/or Payments for Services Rendered
· Medical Records Requests
· Prior Authorizations and Referrals Out
· Taking Vitals and Triage of Patients
· Collection of Specimens and Blood Draws
