Essential Duties
- Demonstrate a client first focus in all you do
- Collect necessary information from clients, manage appointments in a computer scheduler
- Monitor patient’s insurance and authorizations
- Manage medical records information in compliance with HIPAA and OMH regulations with an emphasis on con dentiality and patient rights
- Work as part of a team
- Pick up and sort mail
- Maintain a cordial and professional presence
- Mondays 8:45am to 5:15pm, Wednesday 9:45am to 6:15pm, and Tuesdays and Thursday 10:45am to 7:15pm, Friday 8am to 4:30pm
- Position is for Derby office and occasionally to fill in at our Hamburg offce
Essential Qualifcations;
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Business/secretarial training a plus
- 2-3 years’ experience in this type or similar position
- Familiar with medical terminology
- This position requires close-vision and attention to detail
- Must be dependable with a professional demeanor
