eContent Pro International (a company of MKP Technologies) is seeking an experienced Copy Editor with a superior understanding of English grammar, experience adhering to multiple established styles, and strong communication skills to work in a freelance capacity performing copy editing services. Qualified candidates should have high attention to details, to meet established deadlines. This is an off-site subcontractor position requiring 2+ years of professional copy editing experience.
Qualifications:
- An earned bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Mass Media, or related areas is required.
- Strong proofreading skills and knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Proficiency in writing, communication and research skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically, the track change function).
- Knowledge of APA style is required. MLA, Chicago, Turabian, as well as AMA are all desired.
