Overview:
Lake City Care Center has an outstanding opportunity to take a Free CNA course in April 2023. The next MN State Southeast 80-hour CNA course is April 17 - May 11, 2023 (no class on Fridays) from 4PM-9:30PM at Red Wing Campus OR April 10-26 from 4PM - 9:30PM at Winona Campus. The majority of the Nursing assistant course is online, however four days are required in person at the college for Skills training. Apply by March 31st, if interested!

- Starting wage of $16.00 per hour while taking the CNA Class
- Upon passing Minnesota Southeast's Nursing Assistant Class, you will start working as a Nursing Assistant with our skilled nursing community in Lake City, MN and receive a wage increase to make $21.28 per hour!
- Ebenezer will pay for this college CNA course and the required state CNA exam fees for each student hired

- Upon passing our CNA course you will start immediately in a CNA position with our Transitional and Long Term Care Team
- We offer a wide variety of shifts and hours to fit your lifestyle, shift and hours will be discussed during initial interview and final job offer!

- Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
- May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
- Observes residents and reports status to nursing staff in a clear and concise manner
- Chart or document in electronic medical record system
- Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
Required:
- Passing the State Nursing Assistant exam and being on the MN Nursing Assistant registry is required within 4 months of hire
Preferred:
- Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population
- Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant
- Work experience in a customer service setting
